accepted by the agency to promote you or try you on a fashion
assignment.

Your first
test shoot or “testing” might be just to see how well you photograph.
Some people look good in person, but don’t photograph well. Others may
not look that good in person but look lovely in photos. The first few
test shoots you do also produces the vital photos you need to show
others (modeling agencies, art directors, clients, etc.) to get more
shoots. Test shoots also allow you to build experience and confidence in
front of the camera, develop or try new looks and build or update your
portfolio.
I shoot for magazines, actors, designers, celebrities and entertainers
of all kinds. I also do paid testing for agency models.
